The "Pixel Pitch" Trap

The Mistake: Buying an expensive P0.9 screen for a large auditorium.

Why it fails: If viewers are 10 meters away, the human eye cannot tell the difference between P0.9 and P1.8. You are wasting 50% of your budget on pixels no one can see.

The Solution: Use the Golden Rule of 1000. Optimal Viewing Distance (m) = Pixel Pitch (mm) x 1.

  • Example: For P2.5, optimal viewing is from 2.5 meters away.
